CLUB ARNCLIFFE has evolved from the original ARNCLIFFE RSL, which has an almost 100 year history in the area – one which we are justifiably proud of.

Our philosophy is simple; to maintain the highest possible principles of honesty and integrity while conducting Club business, and to provide a system for conduct within the Club which is fair, open and nurturing to all members and guests. Our philosophy can be summed up in 4 words; Honesty, Integrity, Commitment and Persistence.

Our vision for CLUB ARNCLIFFE is multi-faceted. Clearly our primary focus is on our members, although having been a Community oriented Club for almost 100 years, it would be inconceivable to ignore those roots. Equally, to ignore our returned service personnel who have, and continue, to put themselves in harm’s way to provide us with the safe environment in which we live, would also be inconceivable.

Such a rich history has been provided by these men and women since circa 1920. It is no secret our current service personnel returning from overseas deployment bring home with them memories and visions of horrific experiences which those of us who have not been there would find hard to imagine. We intend offering them a secure, friendly and relaxing meeting place where they can exchange information and/or obtain advice to address any health, social, or legal issues which they may have.

Last, but by no means least, it is our intention to devote ourselves to the betterment of Club Arncliffe as a friendly facility for Club and Community members by investing as much time, energy and money into revitalisation of the building and infrastructure as we can.

Club Arncliffe (formerly Arncliffe RSL) has operated from the same site since 1934, making it one of the oldest community-based clubs in the district. After having been closed down following a failed amalgamation, members united to reform the Club, and after a 2-year battle, we reopened 18 months ago for trading.

We started with a blank sheet of paper so to speak and now have full bar services with ice old beer on tap, fabulous food from Rita’s Bistro, live music, trivia, raffles, karaoke,  and other regular events you can check out on our events page. Keno and an ATM are in place. we have free function areas and a new darts area has been set up for your convenience. Many other elements are planned, and we will keep you informed as each part falls into place. Our business relies on volunteers. If you want to get involved with our community, come in for a chat.

Dear Members and Visitors. Welcome to the official website for Club Arncliffe. It has taken almost two and a half years, but we finally opened our doors 18 months ago. It has not been easy going, but we are certain that with your help and support we can make our Club strong again.

I would like to thank the Board of Directors and the many volunteers for their determination and indefatigable work to get us to this point. Our aim is to make our Club a safe and friendly environment for families and friends. Thank you for your support.
